I would definitely be interested. I've done work with charity groups before and can also help with some sponsors if need be. It's already mid November...with the holidays coming up it might be better to make that tourney in Feb. For longer planning period...let me know when you have  some more         details lined up....

Puddle,
Excellent idea.  Matt was a good dude.  I will contribute to it.  You should consider having it at the State Park because parking is an issue at DCL.  First thing to do is pick a date and stick with it.  Get together with Shanedoe and Icematt and pick a date.  January could still work, February can get iffy weather wise.  Most folks will be fishing most weekends after Christmas anyway.  Keep us posted, good luck, we're with ya.

May God bless your brother, I did not know him personally, but he always treated me like he knew me and as a friend. He was always willing to help a person out. You just don't find many people like that.

inspite of no ice yet ....matt had the first flag of the year....i proudly and with a tear in my eye placed a tip up on his resting place with the help of his niece and nephew.....was hoping to have a day  for him on the ice .....may have to wait till next year...mom gave me his car to drive it needs some work but i drove it out to the point at broadford and watched the sun set in it  at the point where we fished as kids today....cant wait to take it fishing...listened to his hank williams cd that was in cd player when i got it started....i miss him so much...luv ya brother..

Sorry to hear about your brother Puddle.  I lost my brother in 2007 suddenly and unexpectedly.  We were very close, fished and hunted together all the time.  There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about and miss him.

I went back through and read all of your posts to find out more about it, and although I didn't find that, I found something more important, how much he meant to you.  It's obvious in your older posts.  It reminded me of how my brother and I got along.

Anyway, always remember those good times because even when you're sad, they'll help you get through those times, no matter what they are.
