Going up next weekend and try staying in our permanent site camper on Solberg. Any reports on the area lakes? Anyone going to be out and around up there then? We been staying up on Solberg for 4 summers now and have good luck open water, but haven't hard water fish it yet. I'm 36 and my son is 16. We are set up to be mobile if need be, a couple Clam flip shacks and a Utv.

Fished Solberg last weekend and it was slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww wwwwwwwwwwww.  Stop in at Rolling Point or Polish Palace, they usually have some good info.

yep, check with the bar owners (joe will be straight with you). i fished the chain this past weekend and there was plenty of ice. had the wheelers out, and the snowmobiles and was measuring about 10" in most spots. did catch anything, i also heard it was very slowwwwww!! lots of poeple out on the chain and everyone was moving around alot telling me they were all searching hard for fish.

I've been doing pretty well around price county. Tip ups been pretty good for pike
