UHMW Polyethelene for Sled/Shack Runners

Hey guys - anyone know a good place locally to buy UHMW poly or HDPE.  I'm looking to make runners for a shack.  I don't want to buy a sheet of the stuff - just ends or bar stock.

Your friendly neighborhood local hockey rink will most likely have scrap pieces of puck board kicking around that they happily will give away free................Mo st of the time.

I went and bought a PVC board (4"X3/4"X8ft) at Lowes, ripped it on a table saw, drilled and counter sunk some holes and bolted the runners on my new Otter sled.  I'm happy with them and hear they wear better than the regular sled runners you buy.  We'll see.
