Real Diamonds in Jigs
« on: Jan 04, 2012, 06:13 PM »
Well, I had to do it!!!   I had 3 diamonds that were in my old wedding ring, so, I tapped the ends of some Custom Jigs and Spins jigs, some epoxy and now I have some REALLY EXPENSIVE jigs.  Look almost as good as my Bentley jigs.
Seems like the diamonds in ice jigs is a fitting end.  That wife did not think fishing was a good use of time.  Can't wait to use them!

Knowing my luck a fish with teeth would bite them off. I would have sold the diamonds and bought a lot of jigs. ;)

I thought about that, sold the ring, (gold is HIGH right now), but they did not want the diamonds,  I would have took 20 for them, but no go,,,so in the jigs they went.

Used the fire tiger one all day, and put over 20 gills on the ice.  (was also using the disco balls)  I could see the glitter quite a ways down the hole.
Not ecomical, but if you have some diamonds (real or fake) and a little epoxy, they work as well as my Bentlys.
Just another "before ice tinkering project."
