Same 'ole, same 'ole...The long rods are all packed away with the little rods ready. The shanty received a few modifications and my shorties are as anxious as I am to get out on the ice! Just one BIG problem, no ice! Gene and I are hoping our New Years trip is still on for Michigan. Not lookin' really good, but a little promising weather heading in the G.R. area before then. We'll just hit up the cottage and set up home base and just drive North til we can feel comfortable. Would love to do a U.P. trip, maybe Minnesota next year......(might end up there this trip)
