Depth Maps

Hey guys I was wondering where is the best place to get depth maps of wisconsin lakes also maps showing public access and such. I like to look at lake maps prior to going out so I am trying to get all my crap togather..
Ice fishing is Gods gift to winter...

you can check out the wisconsin dnr website, look for the lakemaps on the homepage and you can look up a lake by name or county. Good luck.

Sportsmans guide lake books. They are $20 a piece. They are invaluable. I'm headed to Wi. next weekend, and I'm sure I'll be picking up at least one for south central Wi.

x2 on the Sportsman's books. If you're recently transplanted each book has all (nearly) fishable waters in an area along with tips, guide advice, access....lots of good stuff. Really nice for if you get a wild hare and want to go on an adventure to a new lake.

Additionally if you're only interested in one specific body try Fishing Hot Spots map. Pretty much the same thing. They're waterproof and easy to carry but at $4-6 each the book is a better value.

The maps on the DNR site are pretty bare bones but will give you a basic idea of lake contours.
