First Day At CIL
« on: Dec 12, 2011, 07:54 PM »
Got out for the first time this hardwater season, plan was to head up to FPB but drove down CIL, saw shacks and gave her a try. Dropped the first line around 9, first fish of the season on the ice by 905. Tiny little sauger (maybe 7") Pretty slow all day, fished in about 12-15 fow, variety of lures (no one worked the best) between two of us we landed 7 in the shack and the tip up got 2. Called it a day around 230. The ice seemed to be between 10-12 solid inches.
