while in the adirondacks today i stopped by a small lake i like to fish and was happy to see ice across the entire surface there were still some holes and it was far from safe yet but it means the lakes are ready at least in the mtns

Temps are supposed to be dropping here this week.  Not enough to freeze, but it won't be long.  Can't wait  Really got the bug bad again this year.  Hurry up ice.
