in search of ice????

wheres all the ice at i think i might head out early in search of some im from the central maine area anybody think ill have any luck??i just cant take the anticipation anymore looked at pics from last year i was fishing on the 13th!!!!wish me luck

Please dont think I was even thinking that anyone was stupid.I just have seen some people taking awful chances on thin ice and have seen my father fall through.His pack basket caught on the ice and he was able to get out. :)I will never forget the fear I felt.I like to have a good 6 inches of ice before I go out.Probably dosen't help that I am a fat boy also.

I went out today and put a couple minnow traps in the water. There was about 2" of ice on a couple ponds around Freeport & Durham, still an awful lot of open water. Maybe there will be a little more ice tomorrow as long as it doesn't warm up. Good luck and stay safe out there.

no i know you didnt mean it like that i was just sayn im not foolish i know whatll hold me and what wont im no small fry myself pushing bout 200 and i find 2 inches will hold me just fine

today was the first time i walked on water this year, not much ice but the inch and a half did the trick to put out some bait traps!!

well i found a nice lil piece of hardwater folks put out 4 traps and managed to get a few brookie 5 to be precise hafta upload pics from phone it was a blast cant wait for another round in the am

Walked on some ice today also..Might put in a couple    ,s tuesday if the wind don't break it up...

Fished on a little more then an inch of ice today.  Caught one rat brookie.
