first trip of the year, pictures

FINALLY scratched the itch Monday December 26, 2011. Also fished Tuesday December 27. Still fishing today.  3-4 inches of ice.

between my two buddies who are both members here (goatskinny, and gdominy12) and i, we have iced 8 small pike, and mess of perch. Good eater size pike, kept a bunch to stock up the freezer. Enjoy!!

If you consider it a sport to gather your food by drilling through 36 inches of ice and sitting there all day hoping that the food will swim by, you might live in northern New York
