I just left Totten Trail after having supper. I talked to the owner (Curt) and his goal this year is to tailor to the ice fisherman. He wants to plow roads and cook great suppers thru the winter as long as we, ice fisherman support him. He has two trucks (possibly three) ready to plow ice roads as long as we are willing to put a couple bucks in the "snow plow" tip jar and hopefully eat a meal or two at Totten Trail (and maybe have a drink). He also wants to start a "bragging board" thru e-mail on the Totten Trail wall. If you would like his e-mail, I.M. me. I will happily give it to you (I already have his permission). Totten Trail is a North Dakota legend that is dying. If we support him while he plows us roads, we all benefit. Currently Devils Lake is the only place we have in North Dakota that will plow. There has to be enough demand between Minot and Bismarck for this to work!!!! I don't care if you respond to this post but please get the word out so Totten Trail can survive!! (no, I am not affiliated with Totten Trail in any way, shape, or form outside of being a happy customer)
