Couldn't take it anymore...

It had been a while since I had a day to fish... With no ice in sight I needed to scratch that jigging itch. Mike and I launched on the CT River and did some deep water jigging for crappie. It was pretty foggy to start but it cleared up nicely later on. A slip float and a small jig head tipped with a pinhead did the trick...






While waiting for the bobber to go down, we threw some bigger jointed swim baits for pike and ended up with a few good ones in the boat  ;D




As much as like to pike fish on the river, I am ready for the ice! PLEASE GET COLD NOW!!!!
