Here a couple homebuilt Augers i put together. The Small one is my Run&Gun auger and the second is a Hightech TechnaMoe I made.

Hmm, just a weed-whacker motor directly connected to an auger??  No transmission or clutch?  How do they work?

Not a weedwacker but a gas drill with gear reduction.

Yes Tony it is. Its as strong as one would want but super light and Quiet. A Cadillac is what it is.

Bummer....and I thought I was about to be able to hook my mora hand auger to my gt2400 echo weed whacker!!  haha.

What are the specs??  what are they normally used for, post hole diggers??
