Reading old posts about our area condition's
« on: Sep 01, 2011, 07:32 PM »
I was scrolling through some old (last year and year before) posts about the current conditions at the time for my local area and it seems as though I should just tell my Wife I'm going ice drinking. All but a handful of posts were all basically no fish, no fish, no fish! Whats going on with one of "the best fishing areas"? ???

The good part is that it is cooling off and the best open water fishing of the year is coming shortly. ;)

I agree. I went to a local marina and was hammering Bluegill's, a few bigger Perch, some good sized Crappie's and a whopper Largemouth (about a 21-23") on an Ugly Stick Ultralite and 2lb test, lol. Fishing was all about non-existant when it was really hot out last month.
