So today I stopped to fish a river on my way to visit Ladybug and her ol' man. They ended up joining me because I called and said the fish were biting. I caught more fish today in one hour than I did in 4 months of ice fishing. But my hands got chilly in the cool air and rain, and I thought to myself "my blood will thicken and I'll be ready for winter." I might have issues. (Shaddup Capt )

Is the moral support for us or for you? We already knew about the "issues". Start throwing very large blocks of ice in the lake and it should be iced over by the end of August. How many days Surf?

We had that problem last year. This year was just the opposite, First day of open water and no safe water around !

If I read this correctly, shame on you! One must know that leaving the shanty is a big no no and punishable by major pains of a skunked season on the ice!

Guinea, I never thought about storing my auger near the dryer. However, I like it and I thought I was doing good by haveing that 10" hand crank of Surf's leaning next to my front door of the house. Everytime I enter the house, I get to look at it!

So talking about summer, I thought this would be the right thread to tell you my little story (not exciting, but cute, IMO).

Well, I ended up at Stalker's family's cottage on Sunday and it happened to be "chore day". I asked his mom what help she needed, and I ended up potting impatiens (those are flowers, guys) with her. The fun part was that we were doing it on top of Stalker's brother's bobhouse. (It's laid out in panels. Perfect height for a potting bench).

Well? Ya know? Can't fish out of it right now, but at least I used it in some way.

If I was a songwriter, I would have written a song about it. It brought a tear to my eye.
