Converse Bay

Anyone been fishing Converse Bay at all, wondering ice conditions-I've never fished down there but i heard good things.

I checked it out a couple of weeks ago and it looked like the whole lake had caught south of the ferry.  The ice looked a lot different out past the island though.  Of course, a lot has happened since then so i would be careful.

Fished converse yesterday, lots of water and slush and around 14 inches of ice or so, didn't venture out too far the bite was slow.
