I think taking fish out actually helps the quality of the fish. If you get too many perch they get stunted and and all you get is a bunch of dinks. If you fish the lake in june and july and see the amount of perch fry that the lake produce every year you wouldn't be worried. If Oneida was going to be over fished it would have happen long ago. There didn't used to be any limit years ago and I think there were more perch then.

Those slobs bring back memories used to get them like that on Devils Lake in the hay day but thanks to no limits back then guys would leave with coolers and buckets full of them daily now they are far and few between.

It is funny that's all I catch on Oneida is perch and small mouth...where the walleyes at lol. Nice haul.
