Local Lakes Lately?

Anyone been out to any of the local lakes lately? I fished Vivien on the weekend in the blizzard and it was slow. By slow I mean not a touch! Pete's a couple of weeks ago and, aside from a couple of fish early in the morning, it was pretty slow.

Thinking of maybe one of the local lakes near Cluculz this weekend... anyone been out lately?

Just dreaming here....er wait, I'm heading out right now for a few days, then back to my house for an overnighter, then back out for a few more days, then back to my house to replenish supplies, then out for 4 days fishing. I just love icefishing holidays.

ive been hibernating like a bear lately so i have no idea- but every time i go out i slay em-big ones tooo

Little bits of ice. Lakes get half frozen then warms up. Been snowing every other day down here on the island... just need it to get a bit colder and stay that way a bit longer

Lived on the south island for 25 years (sooke) only remember a couple winters where the lakes froze enough to walk on. These days if you don't know someone with the private lands gate keys you cant get to any of the decent lakes that freeze enough yearly to fish. Life is a lot more frozen since moving up to PG.
