drove the trail to Reynolds today with my car (dodge stratus) and had no problem getting there.  Some people were getting ready to fish but had not gone on yet.  On the way back I stoped at the cement pile for the Lafarge pits and took a walk in.  Did not see the pit and was wondering if it was where the big gravel pile was (approx. 1mile in on the trail or so).  As well is it worth the trip to go back there this time of year.  My dad is looking to come out tomorrow and we wanted to try either one of the spots just don't know where would be better.

It's a bit of a walk in but there are 2 "pits". If your going in from the cement pile the first will be on your left side over that gravel pile you saw. I caught Smallmouth Bass in there during the summer. I believe the pit that has been discussed on here is the second one. Just keep on the same trail and your walk right up to it (it's abit furrther in but you can't miss it, and it is much larger than the other). Have caught Perch and Largemouth Bass in the summer (only 4inchers,lol). Tough to say which is better, but since they are so close, if your not having luck at one pit go to the other. @)

Good luck
