Thinking about heading to Hemlock to do some smelting through the ice. Can any one give me any tips? You can PM me if you would like.

Hemlock sucks for smelting.  Go to Canadice.

.

I've gone after smelt on both lakes, but my best night ever was one night on Hemlock when my wife and i got over 200 in 90 minutes.  That was on the south end in 24' of water.  We had 'em right under the ice.  It was great!
