long time away from here

well this is my first time on ice shanty this year i think. been so busy with hockey and work that havnt  had much time to enjoy the best hard water sport  been out a few times this year and didnt have a whole lot of luck mostly just hit eena when i had the time and caught a few nice ones. im going somewhere tomorrow and was wondering if any one has some suggestions since im not in the tourney more after quantity then quality. was thinking bout maybe heading into camp for the day? gunna try petes next weekend with some family thats coming to town i think.

Camp is a good bet. I went in last weekend and got into lots of brookies and a few rainbows. Also tried for kokanee and got a few little guys. The slush has finally frozen which is nice

Welcome back....You missed alot
Snowshoes are always an asset in the deep snow around here. Always nice to take then if you don't need can leave behind. I made the mistake once of walking in the morning on a beaten snowmachine trail, but warmed alot thru the day, then on my way back (From Kathie) I broke thru every step. I got back well after dark and very sore. Was kicking myself for leaving snowshoes in my car.
