Vexilar Cable to Transducer problem
« on: Feb 06, 2011, 07:33 PM »
I have a Vex FL-8se that apparently has a loose connection between the transducer and the cable as it enters the transducer. If I push the cable in, it works fine, but once i let it go it stops working. Anyone ever had this happen? Any good fix ideas? Right at the wrong time too, I need my Vex back!

Get some 3m marine rtv push cable back inside the transducer and put a dab of the rtv on it where the cable go in and let cure inside for three days... It worked for Me!!
