catch from saturday

headed out to a lake in the kendallville area . was a little slow till about a hour before dark . caught 16 gills and a couple of perch . fished 8fow with a white jig and pink spikes . only one flag a small bass . 10 inches of ice . 3 foot snow drift  which was my first step on the lake .

When its warm fry them with the other gills caught this winter. "Patio-party"

Just gave me an idea. I found a slab of baby ribs in the freeze. Looks like the grill will have its first cook-out this week when it hits 40's. Neighbors, eat your hearts out.

Same thing with me on sat. i was fishing a lake in Orland area bite was slow until about 4:30 and then it was as fast as i could put the jig in the wholeuntil 6 then it just shut off. I end up getting around 45 to 50 keeper gills best night i've had this year,went back to same whole today caught another 25 but only 8 keepers
