How's Gardiner's Lake?
« on: Feb 08, 2011, 12:24 PM »
My Grandson's birthday is Sunday and I'm headed over to the party.  I've fished Gardiners a lot in the past.  Used to live in Salem.  I know it can be good or it can be really bad..  Usually with this much snow, it's bad.

I'm thinking of coming over and maybe going out with my Son on Saturday.  He live's in Storrs not far from Mansfield Hollow.

Any recommentations on a good bet for some flags and jigging action on Saturday??

Launch is not plowed, 4 wheel needed to go down hill to the lake-oops I mean to get back up. Nowhere to park. Towed the gear down the lake behind the atv no slush all white ice. Total of 15-18", up to a foot of white, 6" black. Several small walters made the tip-up lights flash, no keepers.
