Hey Grump - just curious - but what are the markings on your wall in the last pic there?  It almost looks like you keep track of the fish you catch/sizes/etc... ?

I joked the other night that I was going to start asking the bait shop for 4 minnows instead of the 2 dozen I usually get because I never use more than 4 on any trip.   ;D

nice looking eye too by the way

my setup is a zebco rod with my shimano baitcaster.....spiderw ire stealth line....snap swivel and a chartreuse slowpoke tipped with a live chub.....MM is using a zebco combo with stren 6lb test original.....snapswive l and the same slowpoke with live minnow....have been trying quite a few combinations....and the trigger on most fish so far has been the above...actually according to rockbottom, the fish are concentrating in shallow...2-3 ft of water....i am in 6ft.....once the ice thickens, hopefully they will get out our way....its just a matter of time....Grump

Love the marking ideal. Love the hunt would love to make one like that but fish too many lakes.
