Just wondering how you guys rig your fiskas. Im new to this panfishing. I got some Little ATOM nuggies, wedgees, and so forth. Everyone has
recommened 3m jigs, but they seem way to small to put plastic on there??   How do you rig those 3m wolfram jigs???  Thanks Bob

if you look at the back of the package that the fiska comes in it shows how to tie them on. is how i tie them on. i have them from 2 mm to 5 mm. and personally i like the 4mm fiska best. good combo with a little atom wedgee or a nuggie.  among other plastics i use.

I have tied the knot on the package and it works. But with my fingers and tiny tiny string, I tie the Seaguar Cinch usually. I dont use plastics read my signature line for an explanation. 4mm works good for unpressured fish. 3mm works good for fish that have seen a lot. 2mm is for fish that have seen it all. 2mm takes a lot of patience, your hooking percentage goes way down.

I use 3 maggots on a 3mm. I nip the first two so that they hang loose. You can barely hook either end and this works. The third I thread on so that it hangs back and down. Good Luck
Every plastics manufacturer claims plastics outfish livebait. So now I use livebait just for the increased challenge.

I usually tie direct onto the jigs, so I can adjust my knot position as needed, and rig the plastics covering the barb of the hook

Unfortunately  the quality has really gone down hill the last two years. There alot of others out there beside fiskas

Prefer a Surgeons Loop to tie them on. Allows subtle movement by simply tapping the rod or line instead of lifting and dropping it away from them which can make all the difference on a slow bite. Gave up live bait years ago, so many plastics available these days you can imitate most any forage down there. Do well on most sizes of panfish on a 3mm but will go to 2.5 or even 2 if needed, especially this time of year. Admit to being a hardcore finesse fisherman and 4mm and 5s do catch fish
