I made my own with some expandable braided wire sleeving. I bought about 24ft of the Neon Green and then used a wood burner to seal the edges. It worked slick and it was a lot less than buying 3 individual sleeves already made from a sporting goods store. I made about 6 custom sleeves for my rods and had some to spare for a few more rods.

Where can you buy this material as my son was asking about these rod covers?    Thanks.

http://cableorganizer.com/braided-sleeving/

This site sells it by the foot in just about any color you want. I'm not sure what size you need, but it would be somewhere between 3/4 and 1 3/4. The size would depend on the size of your eyes on your rod. It is pretty cheap and they don't charge a lot for shipping.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Another thing to think about is the cover protectors for fluorescent lights. Tubes only cost a couple bucks and are 8 feet long
