Please dont bring up your down state bait fish, Do your part to stop the spread of VHS. Im shure you wont have a hard time finding a bait shop.

There is local bait sold there. Had some friends that went there about a week ago. Don't know how they did though.

first off i would not bring bait up that wasn't vhs safe. The place i buy it still give out the vhs free paper to show the DNA.. cuz we don't need that stuff moving around.. also we always try to buy as much up there as we can. but 2 years ago in the winter we couldn't find tip up suckers after we got there. And the fishing was hard with limited bait. If anyone has any places let me know name and number if able so we can keep our U P brothers and sisters in business

Call the Fish and Hunt shop in Curtis. They have a website so you can get the phone number there.

I would call in advance about the decoys, but average sized tip up suckers are easy to come by.
Good Fishin!!!
