Do you night fish or just fish during the day??

I go out fishing and as soon as it is dark--everyone starts leaving the lake.  I fish as late as I can and don't really understand why everyone leaves.  Does fishing luck fall into the crapper that much?

I fish from first light till it gets dark. By that time I leave the ice to find a restraunt because I'm hungry.

when ice fishing it just gets too damn cold... dont have a shanty so the sunlight keeps me warm....regular fishing nite fishing is my favorite...i have spotlights and laterns and nite fish every day....all my biggest fish were caught in the dark or just as it gets dark

Mostly day cause we plan big weekend outings.Mon-fri.short trips in am or two hour noon ventures and back to work.Our night fishing is a handfull set up in advance.

 We fish the days for gills but once night falls the gills stop and the crappie heat up. So I like to do afternoons till 8-9 pm.

Only until right after sundown. The perch seem to shut off around that time, consistantly.

i love to fish into the night, the pickeral usually slow and crappie and catfish pick up once the sun goes down

the trout fishing at night can be good. Most of the time it is better than the middle of the day
