TI Bait will always go onthe low side. Don't want someone to get over confident by a web page listing. The ice there is 10-12 inches. Fishing has been slow over the past few weekends. Hammered them on first ice in december. Plenty of ice to spread out now though. Go to TIBAIT.com for a fishing report, if you beleive fisherman. ;)

Pike, perch, gills. I perfer to fish the other side of the island on Lake of the Isles. Same fish, just deeper water.

East sideish, Its actually inside the island with a small opening to the St. Lawerence so its not really a lake. Access is from De Wolf St park.

If I park at wolf park, is it the island straight across and a little left. (From the boat launch )?

So true on the handles. But there is the opertunity for a good one as well. Caught 4 over 30 in December. None even close in January. The whole bay is at max 6ft. deep.
