the next time that i go out i plan to use a skirt bass jigs in several different sizes colors as well as different size color and style artificial trailers i feel that i pretty much have my bases covered but would like any other input that anyone might have
also i have read a lot about fly fishing with leech flies and was wondering if anyone has ever used gulp leeches or any other kind of leech for hard water pike or open water for that matter
(p.s. my two biggest pike where caught using a black/blue skirted jig at night one 40" the other 42" yes its unusual i know)

I did see a video that a guy shot with underwater cam and he was jigging with a spoon, with a spinnerbait skirt on it and did fairly well. I hope to try this the next ime out, will be interested in your success/failure. Good luck
