frenches cove

 went to Frenches  on Monday. haven't been their in  a long time.   wanted to now is it beater to fish when  they are dumping water  or not.   i fished near the house for sale sigh  we had 10 flags out form 4 to 30 feet.  some  suspended to the 15  to 20.  only 3 flags form 8  to 12 pm   had flasher out  fish all over screen   they come up look and c ya  we tried everthing  move to the opening of cove one flag  they fish were only taking 3 feet of line on every hit.   ill finish with what a ///// day. that's fishing. anybody with info fishing their  let me now. also fished another pond on sat.    another slow day we do well their  same thing  come to look at bait and take off  4 fish  in 5 hr  not good was it slow for others this weekend

You''ll get lot's of perch chew and screws in tipups there. If you saw suspended fish then they were crappie or white perch and if you can get them to bite it's a blast. I usually have success using a hali jig tipped with a moussie there.

We have been having the same problem at various lakes this year. Fustrating isnt it??? Glad to hear we are'nt the only ones. Sometimes it seems like I would be better off not having the vex at all. Jig everything at them, but like you said, you can watch them come up...look at it, and go right back down.  :-\
No, I mean I REALLY REALLY LOVE TO FISH!!!

same here and i'm in r.i i fished ponds last year and got 60 -70 perch  this year same ponds 15 -20 on a good day

This time of year try goin smaller.Instead of a pimple or the like try just a tear drop.Seems to help.

I've never fished Frenches Cove but when I've fished Zoar it always seems the fish turn on when the water is rising whether it is after they stop generating power or a big downpoar.
Sometimes it feels like I live in a Pat McManus story!
