interesting tool for the ice auger

Just saw this on another site   looks great to keep dryer!   anybody use one and how much $$

I was just thinking how it would be nicer to direct the water away  not that Im gonna get wet  good bootsa and the AA solves that   but do they make extentions?  lol  make my icegator the ultimate tool!

its a shroud, just another thing to mess with/ havebreak. and when there's alot of ice and that hole goes under the ice, it defeats its purpose.

Looks great, just make sure it's aimed away from you. I wonder if it only works on a nils, simply because the nils blade is slightly larger than the fliteing.

             It's true , sit it down after a few holes it mite freeze fast to the auger bit and break when u fire it back up !

That looks like an older auger cover made by Otter with the bottom cut off and strapped to his auger.

It will keep you alot warmer when your home sitting on your couch because the stupid thing froze your auger up. Sounds like a waste of $$. I never had a problem getting real wet cutting holes, maybe I am special or something.  :whistle:

it just one of those things for the person who NEEDS everything, feet still going to get wet, will forget it at home or on ice, freeze, get dented somehow and you won't be able to get the auger out. No need.
