IceinKzoo goes to Lake Simcoe Ontario

Me and buddy took a trip to Lake Simcoe this weekend.  Had a blast.  If you have never been I highly recommend it.  Nothing better than catching Jumbo's at Lake Simcoe.

Nice pile! I want to take an ice fishing trip one day, preferrably Lake of the Woods, they just cost too much $$.

Simcoe is not that expensive.  We did a package with a B&B for $85 per night.  That included hut rental and minnows, breakfast and a very clean place to stay.  If you look on the Simcoe Message Board you will find a area for hut rental and accomodations.  Most hut rental is $45 per day.   Later in February the huts go out further for whitefish.

If you google simcoe message board it will be the second link given to you.  Up top is some click paths and one says hut rental and another says accomodations.

Those are some dandies for sure  :o....Good eating to boot  :)......Must be nice to drive out to the fish and catch a load like that. I would be interested in those White Fish too.....WTG  ;D.............
