how is the ice on congamond any one catching fish there? goin out with my kids sunday and trying to pick a place to go

buddies fished middle pond last week,near saunders, they caught some decent bass. said about 6 inches of ice

Fished Congamond on Tuesday, the ice was about six inches except out infront of the Saunders boat launch, someone actually fell through. Did alright on Middle Pond about 500 yards infront of the Saunders launch, all bass the biggest was prob just a hair over 2lbs. Watched a buddy also get broken off by something running straight out under the bottom of the ice....Salmon?
