Best stone I've used, got one to sharpen my broad heads. Only stone I'd buy again. I have a 600/1200 grit. Works great on fillet and hunting knives too.

If this is for fillet knives, I'd suggest an fine oval diamond steel. 10" is plenty for home use. They're available from any cooks shop. If you know someone who owns or works in a restaurant, they can get you a good commercial grade steel for around $30 that will last you years and years.

Mine came from Cisco restaurant supply.
