Where Are the Perch Biting?????

Anyone know where the Perch are.... thinking of fishing Tuesday or Wednesday next week for the first time..... Got a New Jigging stick and Aqua-View cam for x-mas cant wait to test them out!!!!

Ive been very tempted to purchase one of those cams.. I would be very interested to here how it works for you. Being able to check out the structure and keep yourself amused for endless hours we spend on ice without flags seems like it might be worth the money. Lmk :tipup:

One of my buddies has one and we used it 2 years ago at a small res...we weren't catching anything i took his cam about 200 meters away and checked a spot and found a school of perch nice perch to....we started nailing them after that~~

i would try south of the bridge, heard a lot of guys nailing them down there. Those cameras are great, ive used them before and found pockets of walleye where i had never thought to try for them before.

I fished Isle Lamotte East shore, Wedsday, bite was slow, Med. size but tasty.

Fished St Albans Bay Wednesday, Thursday, and today. Bite was slow Wed. with only about 40 keepers. Thursday was better...100+ keepers. Today slow again...60 keepers. Most fish were in the 7-8" slot; but had 30 or so 8-10".

A buddy called tonight and said they did well on perch at Elmore this afternoon too, some big fish I guess.
