great icefishing weekend

fished friday,christmas and sunday.i jigged fri and sat.had perch,sunnies,crappies,lm bass and pickerel.the panfish wanted the tear drop w/ a mousie.the bigger fish wanted the herring color chubby darter.sunday i put
out the tip-ups and man were the flags flying.i guess they were eating up before the storm.went through
3 dozen bait in 4 hours.had great fishing all three days.

fished a small private lake in oak ridge.its all catch and release.the action was great all weekend.i think i'm gonna go tomorrow.just hope that the snow dosen't mess things up.

I wouldn't worry about the snow its not going to melt the ice instantly. The snow will become a problem in future weeks when it warms up and turns into slush.

tried to get out on the lake yesterday and it was slush city.not worried about the ice its the 6inches of icy slush on top of it.
