fishing The Braidwood area
« on: Feb 04, 2014, 04:54 PM »
I was asked by some to get something going, just a get together, not a event or anything of that sort.
just a bunch of us going out ice fishing, maybe a bbq , grill out on the ice. something like that.
if anyone is interested in that, let me know, if there's enought of us, will pick a date and a what your going to bring.
  Cool with you Hoosier?

Hey chopstx... Couple of us are heading over this weekend to fish that area for the first time.  We drove over there and did some scouting last sat.  Anyway I would be interested in getting together and meeting some folks that enjoy ice fishing as much as my friend and I.

Look forward to more details.

Nothing is ever cool with Hoosier.  He probably hates the Illini losing streak too.   ::)

Blu, fishing at Bangs is only from 7 -12.  If you decide to go, shoot me a PM and I'll send you my cell #.  I'll pick you up from your vehicle and haul you and your gear to wherever you want to go with my ATV.  Heck, leave the auger at home if you want, I'll drill your holes for you too if you want.

Plan was to ride with Tx2 making it a long day even if I ride up day before.  And it is 3 plus hours trek for me just to drive directly there.  Not feeling up to much, as this is chemo week. Pump removed today and another odd chemical shot up in am. so feeling less than great now is telling me no way .....Might at this rate mess up next week too.  Sometimes you can almost believe your status as an invalid with the junk they give you. I may fish local.  Toss up, not crawling in bed for sure.
