Really the only way I know how to cook pheasant is to cut the breast meat into small strips, roll them in flour and fry them in butter on low heat in an electric skillet.  Takes a while but it is really good.  Pepper and maybe some seasoning salt is all you need for seasoning.  Have heard of some recipes involving soups and stuff but never tried em.

Good Luck!!

Pheasant IMO is excellent in a cream of mushroom or cream chicken soup in a baking pan with rice.  Cook it about 350 or so for an hour or whatever if I remember right... very tasty, my 2 cents anyways.  I've had it fried too in flour and that is tasty as well...

Do what Mr. G said, then throw everything from the skillet into a crockpot with a couple of cans of cream of mushroom soup and in a few (5-6) hours you have your self a rib-stickin' pheasant gravy for some mashed potaters.
This gravy is delicious but so heavy I could only eat one helping that night.

This sounds odd but give it a try. Stuff the pheasant with sourkraut, cover the breast with bacon strips, and bake. Like I said it sounds strange. I thought so too but it really keeps it moist and tender.

My to favorite ways are to make stew, like chicken stew but use the pheasant, and to use the pheasant in stir fry!!! Wow, I just got hungry!

Not enough ice or time... not necessarily in that order.

My favorite way to eat pheasant is pluck that sonofab***h and throw it in the crock with some vegetables and cream of mushroom and crap.  Good stuff.
