Round Valley Pond

Stopped by Round valley pond today around noon. Didnt have enough time to fish but was talking with a few people who where out there. They had a few tip ups in the morning but action was slow today. Nothing on the jig. Ice is solid all around 6.5-7" black. Really no snow on top of the ice either. Happy New Years all.

Is that the same as round valley res. I used to live in NJ but moved. I use to fish the resevoir and Spruce Run, Still miss those spots. Do they icefish Spruce Run and are they catching hybrids through the ice?

I fished Spruce Run a few times last year for stripers but did not have any luck.

Yes its the same place, its the swimming pond inside the park. I never caught any hybrids through the ice but im sure someone has pulled some out.

do you have to buy a pass to get into the park? i know in the summer you need like a $20 dollar boat pass or something, is it the same for ice fishing?
