First Time

Went ice fishing for the first time ever today at a private pond. The ice was 4-5" back in this bay we fished. My brother caught 1 bluegill. I ended up cathing 5 bluegill. What a blast!! I can't wait to go again.

Glad you had fun today, welcome to the hard water time. Just kind of curious as to what part of OH. you fished today. I live in Allen county and most of are likes just froze up Sunday night. Did hear today that there was some guys on Indian lake, last night, Tuesday, but don't have an ice report. But the weather man is talking for SAT. & Sunday, we shound't have to worry about the ice being safe, with the temps down around 0, for both nights.

I fished a pond in New Phila.  Its in Tuscarawas County.  The bay i fished is protected from wind and gets little sunlight.  Its looking good for friday and sunday.

Were they nice blue gill?? if so me and cube will meet you up there!

Man i'm ready to catch some monster gills and some catfish too!

Sun-Tues are gonna be the days to go next week, Wed. suppose to be 50 Deg. and raining again.
