Corn on a jigging spoon...
« on: Dec 27, 2010, 06:17 AM »
I'm very new to ice fishing (been 3x) and am enjoying it! The bait shops have been closed through the holidays, so I resorted to trying some corn tipped on a jigging spoon. I was killing some huge bluegills and picked up a couple of 3 lb. bass too.

Never tried corn before, so this is new to me, but may be old news to you guys. Just thought I'd pass it along. ;D

Good hunting, Bowhunter57

I know people that use corn to jig for Trout.

I have never tried it, I have too much other fishing gear.

Good luck, and stay on top!
