how do you guys cook your burbot?
i boil my fish until white with salt walter then dip in melted butter yummy

had it a couple times but wrapped in tin foil with butter (not margarine) garlic, onions, salt, pepper over a fire by far was the best  ;D

I cook Burbot the same as Pike or Walleye , a little batter and pan fry. I am going to give the salt water a try .

Have tried a variety of ways...beer batter and fries, butter and garlic, poor man's lobster, blackened cajun...pair it with a pint of stout, or the beverage of choice, and you can't go wrong!

A native fellow once cooked Burbot for us at Deleronde. I believe he dipped it in a beer batter, then dipped it in shredded potatoes - then deep fried - BEST FISH I EVER HAD!!

roll it in flour and lemon pepper then fry it in hot hot oil ;D ;D

Interesting... Burby would maybe be a nice fishcake candidate as well.
