if you go the plow way, get the V plow. I also move snow and have used both a straight plow that angles both ways and now have used a V plow for the last 10 years or so. When you go into a big, hard drift the straight blade that just angles one way or the other is going to swing your truck all over and then you get out of the path that you plowed and very likely stuck. With the V you can hit that same drift and even amounts of snow will go both ways. There will not be pressure one way or the other to push the truck around. Once you get a path busted with the V then angle it one way, run up and down your path a few times to make it a little wider. The V just gets the snow out of the way better just keep the blade down on the ground. the bigger drifts will sometimes make the blade ride up. if it does the just back up and drop it again so your path is always clear and then you should always be able to back up out of the drift. I also use F-350 and have busted through drifts that were up the the mirrors one each side. But on the other hand, chains will do much more that people think and to have the place all to yourself............. that would be nice too I usually plow a path to get my shack out, but there are people that follow the path out then.
