Keyhole ice conditions and fishing report
« on: Dec 09, 2010, 06:33 PM »
Keyhole is building ice with these cold nights. Fisherman are telling us there's a good 6in. in the wind creek area. I've heard of some fisherman going to Pat's point but can't believe the ice is too thick. Wherever you fish on the lake use caution it has'nt been iced over that long yet.
There has been several fisherman coming out all week and the one's that we have talked to are catching fish, mainly walleye. Most are jigging minnows, some are jigging chubby darters and lindy darters tipped with a minnow, others are using tipups and getting some fish. Some have reported the evening bite has been the best, but some are picking up fish all day long. :icefish:
