showdown
« on: Nov 21, 2010, 09:17 PM »
I am looking for some information from anyone who has used the showdown series graphs.
I fish Northwest Indiana and rarely over 15 feet deep most people around here use flashers.
Really like the idea of the showdown but don't want to spend the money if its not as good as flasher.
also some input on the troller would be welcome also.

Thanks.

Showdown is a good flasher. Many shun it because it is not color. It works very well. I doubt you will be disappointed.
Many threads about it in the equipment section.

You can get the macum Vx-1 for the same price.....anything is better than nothing, but I prefer the 3 color flashers over the grey to black line a showdown has.

I love my Showdown. It's small, quiet, easy to read and the battery lasts forever! I don't enjoy staring at the flashing colors all day which is why I chose it over the vex style flashers, but thats just me.
