Kamik Goliath 1 vs Goliath 3
« on: Jan 16, 2011, 11:20 AM »
Hello, I'm trying to decide between the Goliath 1 and Goliath 3. I'm hoping somebody will be able to provide me with a little information to help in my decision.

I will be using these boots for fishing without a shanty, so the majority of the time i will be stationary with feet on the ice.

Will the steel in the Goliath 3 contribute to cold toes after an extended period on the ice? I'm thinking a freezing steel plate will equal cold feet.

Finally, I wear a size 9 in sneakers and most boots. Do these boots run pretty true to size or should i go with a 10? I will be wearing sock liners and wool socks.

Here is a link if anybody would like to compare specs and offer advice..

Thanks in advance,
Steve
