New equipment
« on: Nov 10, 2010, 09:32 AM »

I was just reading the latest Cabelas winter catalog and came across a propane powered auger. Wow, it says a 1 lb tank will last as long as a typical tank of gas without the storing issues and mixing oil in the fuel. I bet it starts a lot easier also. Any thoughts....?

Yeah, I just received my replacement blades for my auger along with a new blade protector.  I thought I was going to have to buy another auger because I couldn't find any replacement blades.  And I couldn't find anyone who wanted to sharpen my old ones.

Now I want to find more jigs and spoons before the ice comes.

I hope everyone has a great season.

Thank you.  I'll have to remember that.  I'm a little new to this board (and ice fishing, too).  I certainly enjoy all the great information
this site provides also.  I will surely browse fish307 for my winter gear.
