jig rod

i have an ultra light jig rod that i realy like it has caught alot of fish over the years but the spring bobber broke last year and i fixed it but now it doesnt work right so im going to remove the bobber completely the only problem is that the bobber is glued into the top eyelit so idk how to remove it with out breaking the rod, any help is pprecieated thanks

Carefully heat it and twist it out....or buy a new tip. You can get a pkg of 3 Berkeley tips for $1.99 at any good sports store.

you can cut the spring bobber off with some side cutters. and if you don't know how to smooth the  point that is left, try a ball of epoxy to make it smooth.

Exactly Rebelss!  Just heat the metal on the tip up with a lighter, twist off, and replace with a new tip.  If you have a fly shop around, they should have a tip that will fit any sized rod you have.
